Before contacting support

A few details make support much faster. Please include:

  • App version and build number
  • iOS version and device model
  • Connection mode: token, OAuth, or proxy
  • Firefly III server version, if available
  • A short description of the issue

Keep your secrets safe

Do not send personal access tokens, OAuth tokens, passwords, or full financial exports in support requests.

Quick answers

Do I need my own Firefly III server?

Yes. Fevault connects to a Firefly III instance that you host and control. It is not a hosted finance service.

How do I unlock Pro features?

Pro features unlock with a one-time in-app purchase handled by Apple. See the Terms for details.

How is my data handled?

Connection secrets are kept in the iOS Keychain. Your finance data remains on your Firefly III server and on your device. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
